Scott Sharabura
President and founder
Scott Sharabura is a leading consultant and advisor in the EV charging industry, with a particular focus on EV charging infrastructure in Canada.
From 2021 to 2025, Scott co-founded and led On The Run Charging, the EV subsidiary of Parkland Corporation. Under his leadership, the team built one of Canada’s largest fast-charging networks, with 75 sites and more than 300 fast-charging ports.
Scott and his team broke new ground through the development of the network. Their work included the first deployment of 400 kW chargers in Western Canada; what was, at the time, Canada’s largest CCS fast-charging site, with 12 fast-charging ports in Hope, British Columbia; and the launch of Canada’s first loyalty program for EV charging through Journie Rewards.
On The Run Charging also secured the largest EV financing deal in Canada: $210 million from the Canada Infrastructure Bank to fund 2,000 fast-charging ports. The business secured more than $30 million in grant funding from federal and provincial sources in British Columbia, Ontario and Quebec, making it one of Canada’s largest recipients of EV infrastructure grant funding.

Before launching On The Run Charging, Scott led Parkland’s strategy team. Earlier in his career, he spent 15 years with leading management consulting firms McKinsey and Booz Allen Hamilton, advising senior energy executives around the world.
His work included strategy development, organization design and operational improvement—experience he now brings to clients navigating complex growth, investment, policy and infrastructure decisions.

Scott regularly shares his perspective at industry events, on podcasts and through social media. He also advises federal, provincial and municipal policymakers on policy and regulations related to EV charging infrastructure.

Scott holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he was named a Siebel Scholar—one of 30 MBA students selected across the United States—and received the Dean’s Award of Distinction for academic performance and extracurricular leadership.
He earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, where he was a Canada Scholar, and is a professional engineer.
